Dr Konstantinos Chochlidakis: Digital Workflows in Implant Dentistry: From Planning to Final Rehabil

When:  Mar 25, 2026 from 20:00 to 21:00 (ET)

Digital technology continues to reshape the way implant dentistry is planned, executed, and restored. This comprehensive webinar provides an in-depth, evidence-based overview of complete digital workflows in implant dentistry, from initial diagnosis and treatment planning through surgical placement and final prosthetic rehabilitation.

Dr. Konstantinos Chochlidakis will review the full spectrum of digital applications currently used in implant dentistry, including digital imaging, virtual treatment planning software, intraoral scanning, template-guided implant placement, immediate loading protocols, and CAD/CAM prosthesis fabrication using 3-D printing and milling technologies. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how these digital tools are seamlessly integrated to enhance clinical efficiency, accuracy, and predictability.

The program will focus on digital workflows for patients with terminal dentition as well as edentulous patients treated with fixed implant prostheses. A step-by-step approach will be presented, covering diagnostic data collection, digital smile design, implant planning, guided surgery, implant scanning techniques, and both surgical and prosthetic management. Clinical protocols will be illustrated through detailed case presentations and supported by current scientific evidence, including findings from multicenter trials.

In addition, Dr. Chochlidakis will discuss material selection for definitive prostheses, along with common technical and biological complications associated with full-arch digital implant rehabilitation. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of full-arch treatment planning, modern digital workflows in full-mouth rehabilitation, and practical strategies for implementing these technologies in everyday clinical practice.

Dr. Chochlidakis is a Professor of Prosthodontics, Periodontics, and Implant Surgery and Program Director of the Prosthodontic Postgraduate Training Program at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health, University of Rochester. A Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontists and a Fellow of multiple national and international organizations, he is an award-winning educator, researcher, and author of more than 70 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Chochlidakis lectures nationally and internationally on digital dentistry and implant prosthodontics and brings extensive academic and clinical expertise to this comprehensive educational program.
