Webinar Description:
When faced with oral disharmonies, clinicians must evaluate treatment options across the spectrum—ranging from orthodontic, restorative, and surgical approaches. This course will explore how timing, biology, and patient circumstances influence whether orthodontic, enamel, or osseous modification becomes the most appropriate path.
Using real case comparisons between adolescent and adult patients, the session will highlight the consequences of delayed treatment—both biologically and financially—while emphasizing strategies for comprehensive and interdisciplinary care.
What You’ll Learn:
✔️ Differentiate between Orthoplasty, Enameloplasty, and Osteoplasty in terms of indications, limitations, and long-term outcomes
✔️ Analyze how treatment timing impacts complexity, cost, and biological consequences for patients
✔️ Compare adolescent and adult cases to better understand growth-related considerations versus mature dentition challenges
✔️ Integrate interdisciplinary perspectives when planning interventions for patients with oral disharmonies
✔️ Apply practical clinical decision-making strategies to optimize patient-centered treatment planning
