Dr Frederic Barnett Presents "Is it Endo-Perio or Perio-Endo or Just Place an Implant?"

When:  Nov 14, 2024 from 20:00 to 21:30 (ET)

Course description
An anatomical relationship exists between endodontic and periodontal structures. This relationship allows for the spread of inflammation and infection between these sites that may ultimately lead to pulp necrosis and canal infection and tissue destruction of the attachment apparatus. Proper diagnosis is of course critical as it will inform sequence and timing of treatment. This presentation will also discuss the outcomes

Course objectives
At the conclusion of this lecture, the participants should be able to: 1. Better understand the disease pathways between the root canal system and the periodontal structures. 2. Better understand the complexities of diagnosis and decision making for the compromised tooth. 3. Better understand how to approach the so-called Endo-Perio lesion regarding timing and sequence of treatment.
