Career Highlights

My journey into dentistry began as I shadowed my cousin, an Oral Surgeon in Israel. From that first day I was intrigued by the creativity of dentistry along with the ability to build long lasting relationships and be an integral member of the community. I obtained my pre-doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine and continued with a two-year Graduate Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center where I learned from a number of world class Dentists and Dental Specialists. I later attended Indiana University School of Dentistry where I obtained my Certificate of Post-Graduate Study in Periodontics along with a Masters in Oral Pathology. More recently, I have been fortunate enough to join the practice of Dr. Tom Kepic, an amazing mentor. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead.

When I was in elementary school, I wanted to be...
Between sports and fishing I’m not sure if career paths were on my mind at that time but I knew I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives.

Career Advice

Foster relationships and heed the advice of mentors that came before you. Collaborate and share with your colleagues. There is so much we can learn from one another.

What is your favorite way to unplug from work?

My favorite way to unplug from work is to spend time with my family, pick up a book, or listen to a podcast. I really enjoy Seth Godin’s books and the How I Built This Podcast by Guy Raz.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

On weekends you can find me hiking the mountains around Los Angeles. I find this to be a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

If you could ask other colleagues in the room one question, what would it be?

If you could go back and do one thing differently, what would it be?
